As reliable sources reported that “WeRide”, a Chinese driverless technology company, had a public offering in the United States, that was accelerating and expected to close in the first quarter of next year.
In the October of 2022, “WeRide” had filed the application for overseas brand with relevant regulatory authorities in China, while the Founder and CEO, Xu Han, had gone to the U.S. to seek capital support.
According to Bloomberg News figured that there were seven completing rounds of financing from “WeRide” at a nearly total number of $1.5 billion, with a Current Market Value (CMV) being at exceeding $4.4 billion. It was an expected initial public offering (IPO) at approximately $500 million, whereas it had already raised financing at $100 million at this time.
