The new courses offer students an opportunity to learn the skills necessary to become an EMT at their own pace. The company’s courses are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) as well as being NCCP compliant and accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

With the update, EMT and AEMT students will acquire the skills they need in as little as 140 hours. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. The company also offers courses for continued education and recertification.

To ensure that graduating technicians have the abilities and dedication required for the job, they have several additional requirements for the course. Students will have to maintain a grade average of at least 80%, regularly attend all of their courses, and pass a series of tests to prove their proficiency.

The training includes seven two-hour courses and assessments that are conducted via webcam. Students who decide to take the required courses in person instead of remotely will be required to attend 172 hours of training, over the course of 6 to 9 months.

Once the online training is completed, applicants will have to pass a test given by the NREMT. The test covers a wide range of topics, including cardiology, resuscitation, medical care, and trauma. It usually takes about two hours and is administered by different organizations depending on the State of the applicant.

Successful applicants will have to show that they are competent in a number of areas, including conducting patient assessments, controlling bleeding, and managing shock. The courses offered by EMT and Fire Training Inc. will prepare students for all of these requirements and assist them in building a new career in medicine.

A satisfied client said, “Taking this course was my best decision. I had been looking for a way to get EMT certified quickly and could not take in-person classes. This was the perfect option for me, as it is self-paced, allowing me to do it on my own time. As a full-time college student, that allowed me to focus on my studies when I needed to. I would recommend it to anyone looking to become EMT certified.”
