Celestial Air Announces Emergency Refrigeration Repair for Henri Victims

Celestial Air activates their emergency refrigeration repair services for Hurricane Henri victims that have lost power due to wind, flooding or lightning strikes.

Paterson, United States - August 24, 2021 /PressCable/

Celestial Air, New Jersey’s premier refrigeration service company, has activated its emergency response team for commercial establishments that have lost power due to Hurricane Henri. Henry traveled across New England over the weekend and more heavy rain is expected in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and southern Vermont and New Hampshire. While the team is always ready to handle emergency refrigeration repairs, this hurricane season necessitated activating emergency services earlier than in previous years.

With flood watches all over the area, Henri is predicted to cause more power outages over an area already affected with more than 53,000 customers without power as of Monday morning. The National Weather Service warns of dangerous storm surge, hurricane conditions and flooding rain in the Northeast on Monday. These conditions might pose further problems for the power grid in New England and Celestial Air’s service area in New Jersey.

Celestial Air’s emergency response team is monitoring the power situation in New Jersey. Restaurants and other commercial establishments that have lost power to their refrigeration equipment are advised to keep doors shut in their refrigerators, freezers, coolers and ice makers. This will keep the food stores chilled at a safe temperature for several hours until power is restored.

If power is expected to be out for more than a few hours, Celestial Air stands ready to assist restaurants, hotels, and institutions with temporary power and repairs to refrigeration equipment that may have been damaged due to the extended outage or power surges from lightning strikes. A lightning strike can damage sensitive solid-state control circuitry in refrigeration equipment.

Hurricane Henri is the latest in a line of hurricanes which have hit the U.S. mainland over the past few weeks. With a hurricane season that has started early and violently, Celestial Air’s refrigeration teams are ready to address and repair any refrigeration equipment for its commercial customers caused by these damaging storms.
