Dover, Delaware Feb 28, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - A team of six senior-level, minority executives have teamed up to announce the formation of a new company, Bright Road, that is focused on increasing access to capital, jobs and procurement opportunities for black people.

This portal will connect prospective job candidates with firms that are seeking diverse, qualified talent and cultivate relationships between buyers and qualified, minority businesses.
A key element of the Bright Road portal will be ratings and ranking engine that measures an organization's equity and inclusion efforts against a number of key indicators that range from the makeup of board leadership to the demographic composition of the company's workforce. Each company's quantitative progress toward greater diversity will be tracked and displayed on the portal in real-time.
Another important feature of the Bright Road portal is a consolidated view into the corporate public pledges, in support of inclusion and equity efforts which, to date, total into billions of dollars. This feature will also provide visibility into the follow-through and effectiveness of those same pledges.
Together these solutions aim to leverage the interplay between technology, procurement, process improvement and data to create scalable, repeatable models for addressing and resolving the acknowledged disparity gaps in fields that are critical to our great nation's continued success.
