Donation will assist with horse care as the Boerne equestrian facility begins cleanup and rebuilding
-- DALTON, Ga. – August 10th, 2026 - Saratoga Stalls has purchased and donated a truckload of wood shavings to Corrival Ranch in Boerne, Texas, following severe flooding that caused extensive damage throughout the equestrian facility.
The shipment is currently en route to the ranch and will help provide clean bedding and a more comfortable environment for its horses as employees and volunteers continue the difficult work of cleaning and restoring the property.
Corrival Ranch is a 57-acre Quarter Horse breeding, boarding, training, and equine rehabilitation facility. Floodwaters entered multiple buildings at the ranch, leaving behind heavy mud, debris, and significant damage to equipment and infrastructure.
Despite the rapidly rising water, ranch staff, first responders, volunteers, horse owners, and members of the surrounding community worked together to move all 120 horses to safety. No injuries to the horses were reported.
“Our first concern was for the horses and the people caring for them,” said Curtis Gardner, CEO of Saratoga Stalls. “What happened at Corrival Ranch was devastating, and the recovery will take time. We hope this shipment provides some immediate help and makes things a little easier for the horses and the people working to rebuild.”
The donation represents one part of a broader community response that has included assistance from volunteers, emergency personnel, horse owners, neighboring ranches, and disaster-response organizations.
“The way people came together to protect these horses and help the ranch recover is a powerful example of what the equestrian community does during difficult times,” Gardner said. “We are grateful to be able to contribute.”
