The Filipino American Museum (TFAM) will feature a special Ifugao tribal collection gifted by Therese and John Finnegan at its June 12, 2026 grand opening at Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas. Filipino entertainment begins 1:30 p.m., public opening 2:00 p.m., and closing 4:00 p.m. sharp.
-- The Filipino American Museum, also known as TFAM, will feature a special Ifugao tribal collection during its grand opening on June 12, 2026, at the Boulevard Mall along Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas.
The celebration will begin with entertainment featuring Filipino performers at 1:30 p.m. The museum will open to the general public at 2:00 p.m., followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. The event will welcome local officials, community leaders, cultural advocates, families, students, artists, donors, and members of the public. The museum will close at 4:00 p.m. sharp.
The featured Ifugao collection was made possible through a generous gift from Therese and John Finnegan, whose contribution helps TFAM preserve and share an important part of Filipino Indigenous heritage. Therese has been collecting for more than 35 years. The collection will give visitors an opportunity to experience cultural artifacts connected to the Ifugao people, one of the Indigenous communities of the Philippines known for their artistry, craftsmanship, traditions, and deep connection to ancestral heritage.

Located at 3680 South Maryland Parkway, Unit 320, Las Vegas, NV, TFAM was created to preserve, celebrate, and share the stories, artistry, heritage, and contributions of Filipino Americans. The museum’s mission is inspired by the anahaw, a symbol of the Filipino spirit representing strength, resilience, beauty, resourcefulness, and optimism.
The museum is led by Rozita Villanueva Lee, President and Founder; Carl Magno, Vice President; Raquel Nerisa Bridges, Treasurer; David Tupaz, Chief Curator; Ron Cabildo, Director of Global Marketing and Strategic Alliances; and Atty. Vissia Calderon, Secretary.
With the museum now opening to the public, TFAM is calling on the community for support. Volunteers, donors, sponsors, cultural advisors, educators, artists, business owners, and community partners are invited to help the museum continue building its exhibits, programs, archives, and educational experiences.
