Armada Club has launched its first phase, onboarding yachts for a private members’ club offering superyacht access for dining, business, and wellness experiences. Membership enquiries open ahead of a September 2026 debut, emphasizing privacy, curated hospitality, and support for marine conservation and crew well-being.
-- Armada Club is pleased to announce the first phase of its launch, marking the beginning of yacht onboarding for a new private members’ club designed to provide access to superyachts for dining, business, and wellness experiences. The yacht club is positioning itself as a private-access model rather than a fractional ownership structure, with membership enquiries now open ahead of the broader programme rollout and the first member experiences expected to begin in September 2026.
At its core, the launch centers on building an exclusive fleet of professionally operated yachts that can host private dinners, business meetings, corporate gatherings, and onboard wellness experiences while docked in port or at anchor. Armada Club says the concept is intended for individuals, families, and businesses seeking a more discreet way to access the superyacht environment without the complexity associated with ownership or syndicate-style arrangements.
“Some of the world’s best chefs are working on yachts, and the interior and exterior dining spaces often surpass even the finest five-star resorts,” says Claire Hagen, Co-Founder of Armada Club. “Opening these vessels up for amenity access is a genuinely special opportunity.”
Hagen added that the club’s vision reflects changing expectations at the luxury end of the market, where privacy, service, and personalization remain central to the experience. She also pointed to the growing appeal of onboard wellness, noting that many yachts now feature advanced amenities that go well beyond what is typically associated with hospitality venues on land.
“I see the wellness side becoming equally as popular as dining, because some of the best gyms, spas and facilities in the world are on board,” Hagen states. “These aren’t hotel add-ons. They’re built into the fabric of the yacht.”
Armada Club is also entering the market at a time when privacy has become an increasingly important consideration for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and globally visible clients. The club’s leadership says that private onboard hospitality can offer a more controlled and discreet environment for social, professional, and personal gatherings.
“I have spent my whole career around some of the most recognised people in the world, and privacy is a real need,” says Jonny Harris, Founding Director, Armada Club. “For many, going out for a meal is not an option. Even when they hire private spaces, there is always a risk to privacy. This club is something that would instantly make sense to them.”
The company reports early interest from 20 yachts, including several over the 100-metre mark, with onboarding beginning in late March as vessels are assessed against operational requirements and professional crew standards. Membership applications are expected to open in June, with the programme moving toward its first public operating phase in September.
Beyond access, Armada Club says it is building the business around a broader commitment to responsible industry participation. At least 10% of all member and business membership annual fees will be directed toward marine conservation, ocean preservation, and crew mental well-being initiatives, with additional support planned for a forthcoming mental health charity.
Industry support has also added early momentum to the concept. The model has been welcomed by figures across the yachting sector who see value in creating more flexible, private, and operationally efficient ways for new audiences to experience life on the water. Armada Club says it is also finalising strategic partnerships with brokerage houses, shipyards, and established members’ clubs in key yachting destinations.
Claire Hagen and the Armada Club team also spoke at the Superyacht Investor Conference in London last week, marking the first public phase of the launch and further introducing the concept to the wider industry.
