Polytex Technologies appoints Danny Levitzky as new CEO, Yariv Matzliach as Chairman

Leadership changes follow additional capital infusion and opening of new subsidiaries, heralding new era of growth.

Polytex Technologies, a global leader in workwear management solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Danny Levitzky as the company’s CEO. He began his tenure on September 1, 2024.

An electrical engineer and MBA graduate from London Business School, Danny brings a wealth of experience and expertise in driving operational and developmental improvements at multinational companies. With his technological and business background, he is an ideal leader to guide Polytex through the next phases of growth, further cementing its leadership in the field of automated textile and uniform inventory management solutions for healthcare, hospitality and manufacturing.

Yariv Matzliach, who served as Polytex CEO since 2019, has now transitioned to Chairman of the Board, focusing on strategic leadership and forging key partnerships worldwide.

Today, Polytex also announced a substantial additional investment from existing major investor, Fortissimo Capital, earmarked to help fuel the expansion of Polytex’s research and development programs, manufacturing capabilities, and go-to-market strategies.

New subsidiaries

Polytex is also delighted to announce the recent expansion of its worldwide sales and support operations for its automated textile and uniform management systems, with new subsidiaries opened in France and the UK and strengthened activities in its German subsidiary. These developments bring Polytex closer to customers and partners, enabling more responsive, localized service in these fast-growing markets.

Polytex UK, established in June 2024 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Polytex Technologies Ltd., is headquartered in London.

Polytex France began operations in August 2024 following the acquisition of Polytex’s French distributor, ACABI. Now a fully owned subsidiary, Polytex France is headquartered in Les Mureaux, near Paris.

“Over the past few years, Polytex has introduced numerous market-firsts in workwear and textile management, including innovative automated workwear dispensing and return systems, cloud-based uniform management software, and, most recently, a unique, automated flat linen management solution,” said Yariv Matzliach. “As we embark on the next phase of growth, I’m excited to assume the role of Chairman, to help shepherd Polytex’s global goals.”

Danny Levitzky added: “I’m honored to take on the role of CEO at Polytex at this significant juncture. While working in an earlier position, I saw firsthand the need for workwear management in a manufacturing environment and experienced the benefits of Polytex’s solution. I’m looking forward to leading Polytex into its next chapter. Our focus will be on continuing to deliver exceptional value to our customers, strengthening relationships, enhancing our product offerings, and pushing the boundaries of operational excellence. I look forward to working closely with our talented team and partners as we navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead”.
