USA Geography & Travel Site What States Moves Website to WhatStates.com

By: Magic PR

Highlands Ranch, Colorado (December 14, 2022) – The online geographical and travel reference site What States has moved its set of online guides and resources to the domain whatstates.com. Content from What States previously lived at WhatStates.org, but as of last month all content has been moved to WhatStates.com.

A representative for What States commented: “Readers have come to love What States as a candid and fun source of information and trivia about what each of our 50 states is best known from. As part of our website redesign, we made this move because we plan to expand our resources into the travel and leisure space, and we feel that the new website domain gives the company more room to grow into a national brand. While our resources have moved their home on the Internet, our mission remains the same: to help people around the world learn amazing things about the states and territories of the USA.”

What States is an online resource that curates history, trivia, and geographic facts about the states and territories of the United States. What States publishes guides that highlight unique facts and fun geographic trivia about the United States. It has helped thousands of readers learn more about the USA.

What States recently unveiled a series of lists highlighting unique things each of the 50 states is known for. For example, did you know that New Hampshire has recorded some of the fastest wind speeds in the world? Or did you know that the state of Oregon is home to both the smallest park in the world and the largest living thing? These are just some examples of the fun state facts highlighted in this new series, which is rolling out on the new website for What States.

Writers for What States include Matthew Reppond, a geography trivia expert from Kodiak, Alaska, and Meg O’Connor, a geologist and freelance writer living in New Orleans, Louisiana. More information about the What States team can be found on the website’s about page.

What States is owned by its parent company, Cenote Media LLC, a Colorado company that also operates a portfolio of reference websites including First Time Flyer HQ, another travel website.
