Charleston, South Carolina – Mark Joye, Head of the Litigation Department at Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers, has been selected to the South Carolina Lawyers Weekly 2026 Power List for Personal Injury, an annual recognition honoring influential attorneys that have shaped the state’s legal landscape.

With over 36 years of practice, Joye is widely respected for his leadership, courtroom tenacity and ethical approach to complex personal injury and product liability litigation. Among his most notable achievements is a landmark $262.5 million verdict in an auto defect case, one of the largest personal injury verdicts in South Carolina history, which helped hold a global manufacturer accountable and advance consumer safety.

Over the years, his work has included high-profile wrongful death cases, complex trucking collisions, defective product claims, and meaningful pro bono victories.

As Head of the Litigation Department, Joye collaborates closely with attorneys across the firm to ensure cases are thoroughly prepared and clients’ recoveries are maximized.
