A new children’s book by Mara Aurora invites young readers to explore confidence, imagination, and self belief through a magical nighttime adventure. Faucet For We All Have The Power To Glow is designed for children ages two to nine and follows a young boy whose life changes when a glowing, trumpet shaped character named Faucet appears in his dreams.
In the story, Faucet asks for help reuniting with his best friend, Abendiglow. As the pair journey together, the boy uncovers a surprising truth about himself that he carries a special power to shine both literally and figuratively. The book blends fantasy with emotional warmth, creating a gentle narrative that speaks to children and parents alike.
Mara Aurora, who wrote the book during the COVID period, was inspired by watching how children struggled with isolation and uncertainty. With a psychology background from Azusa Pacific University and more than twenty two years of experience working with children with disabilities, including autism, she crafted the story to reassure young readers that strength and light already live inside them.
The idea for Faucet began years earlier during bedtime storytelling sessions with her sons, when the family would invent characters and adventures together. Now teenagers, her boys inspired what she describes as the first chapter in a larger imaginative world.
Faucet For We All Have The Power To Glow is recommended for parents, teachers, and educators seeking meaningful stories that promote emotional growth and resilience. The book reminds readers that believing in oneself is a superpower available at any age.
The title is available through Amazon and Audible.
