Craig Gravina, Chief Technology Officer, will take the stage at Dataversity MDM Demo Day on May 20, 2026, for Semarchy, where he will present how Master Data Management (MDM) is undergoing its most significant transformation in a generation: moving from the mastering of records to the delivery of governed Data Products for agentic systems and the business.

Gravina’s session will feature how, with the Semarchy Data Platform (SDP), organizations can:

  • Design and deliver trusted data faster and at scale — moving from requirements to usable data quickly using modern, collaborative data AI engineering practices
  • Accelerate development with AI — generating data models, business rules, and workflows using the same tactics as software developers and applying it to data, reducing manual effort
  • Serve both business users and agentic systems — delivering governed data through intuitive applications for users with semantic context and instructions for AI
  • Enable self-service without losing control — making data products catalogs easy to discover and use while maintaining quality, governance, and transparency

To deliver these outcomes, Gravina will walk through the end-to-end governed lifecycle of Data Products: creation using DataOps and AI Data Engineering capabilities, and discovery through the Data Product Catalog for business and AI consumers.

Rounding out the session are demonstrations of agentic access to data using Semarchy’s Data Product MCP capabilities, practical use of AI already available in organizational IT ecosystems (including Anthropic, OpenAI and Snowflake’s Cortex AI), and publishing Data Products into preferred data ecosystems such as Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.

Craig Gravina, Chief Technology Officer at Semarchy, said: “MDM has always been about trust—ensuring business-critical data is accurate, consistent, and ready to use. What’s changed is the scale. With SDP, we’re moving beyond mastering records to delivering data products that can be consumed across teams, applications, and AI systems. The capabilities we’re showcasing reflect where the market is heading.”

SDP is built for DataOps and designed to flex around the needs of any organization, available as a SaaS deployment, a self-managed on-premises or private cloud installation, or as the only MDM platform offered as a native Snowflake application.

Dataversity MDM Demo Day takes place online on May 20, 2026, running from 11:00 AM to 3:45 PM Eastern (8:00 AM – 12:45 PM Pacific).
