CIBC Innovation Banking announced today that it has provided growth financing for REG Technologies, a leading provider of compliance and regulatory risk software for the insurance and financial services sector. This follows a recent majority investment in REG Technologies by Accel-KKR, a global tech-focused private equity firm. The company will use the financing to accelerate product innovation, build on its commercial capabilities, and expand into new international markets.
“This funding from CIBC Innovation Banking reflects the momentum we are building as a company,” said Stephen Line, CEO, REG Technologies. “Their support enables us to accelerate innovation, deepen our capabilities for customers, and expand into new and adjacent markets while maintaining the disciplined growth strategy that underpins our long-term vision.”
“REG Technologies is at the forefront of regulatory technology, providing essential tools that help insurance and financial services companies manage increasing complexity and risk,” said Tom Dods, Executive Director, at CIBC Innovation Banking. “We are excited to support REG Technologies as they advance their product roadmap and pursue expansion plans.”
