Context-Driven Litigation Platform Advocacy Emerges From Stealth, Raises $3.5 Million in Seed Funding

Led by Relentless, Investors Include Relativity (via Rel Labs) and Fenwick & West LLP

Advocacy, the AI-native, context-first litigation workspace, today emerged from stealth and announced it has raised $3.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Relentless, with participation from Relativity, through its innovation arm Rel Labs, as well as Am Law 100 firm Fenwick & West LLP, prominent legal scholars from T14 (Top 14) law schools, and a consortium of partners ranging from Big Law firms to practice-specific litigation boutiques.

The funding arrives as demand accelerates among litigators at plaintiff and defense firms, litigation boutiques, and Am Law 100 and 200 practices alike for a secure, matter-centric AI solution that moves beyond generic drafting and review. After a period of quiet research and close-circle development with leading practitioners, Advocacy is now deployed with paying clients and is running active pilots with top-tier firms.

“AI can assist with discrete tasks, but litigation demands continuity and context,” said Téo Doremus, CEO and co-founder of Advocacy. “Litigation teams need more than standalone tools. They need memory-driven infrastructure that understands their case as deeply as they do. We’ve proven this model in the trenches with some of the best litigators in the country, and this funding allows us to scale that capability to the broader market.”

“In litigation, an AI hallucination is a career ender. That’s why the hype cycle tools are failing while Advocacy is winning. They have solved the accuracy gap and earned the trust of the nation’s top trial lawyers by delivering the only thing that matters: flawless context. We couldn’t be more excited to provide them with capital and support to onboard a long line of litigators that are waiting to get on the product,” said Damir Becirovic, founding partner at Relentless.

Historically, the facts and context of a litigation matter have lived in disconnected systems such as e-discovery and legal research tools—and in litigators’ heads. Advocacy centralizes that intelligence in a case memory platform that informs research, drafting, analysis, and strategy across the life cycle of a matter. By shifting from keyword search to context orchestration, the platform captures and organizes matter-critical information, allowing teams to work inside a unified, continuously enriched digital desk.

Advocacy’s latest deployment expands its proprietary memory layer across every surface where litigation work occurs. This includes the ability to seamlessly ingest, process, and map new modalities, such as raw audio and video evidence, into the centralized case timeline, instantly advancing contextual awareness across all connected documents and workflows.

With the new capital, Advocacy plans to expand its product and engineering teams, deepen strategic partnerships—including its ongoing collaboration with Relativity—and scale its team to support a rapidly growing user base. This includes hiring specialized legal alignment experts to engage directly with practice groups, ensuring the AI continually improves and adapts to the nuanced demands of complex litigation.

Advocacy will be onsite at Legalweek New York, March 9-12, 2026, where the team will meet with firm leaders and litigation teams exploring AI adoption. The company was also recently named a finalist for the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards in the Litigation Technology category.
