Experienced finance executive and VC investor joins Ditto to support its next phase of growth across commercial and defense markets.

Ditto, the software platform for unstoppable operations, today named Tom Inman as Chief Financial Officer. Inman brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, venture capital and strategic operations, with a track record of helping high-growth technology and defense companies scale, raise capital, and build financial infrastructure. His appointment comes as Ditto accelerates its expansion across commercial and defense markets, building on growing demand for its connectivity technology.

“Tom brings a breadth of experience, ranging from finance and venture capital to defense, to Ditto’s team,” said Ditto CEO Adam Fish, “Having worked across industries pivotal to Ditto’s operations, both on a commercial and partnership front, Tom is an integral hire to continuing Ditto’s dual-use mission.”

Inman joins Ditto from Performance Drone Works, where he served in senior finance leadership roles as the company scaled its operations and experienced rapid growth. Previously, he worked at Slingshot Aerospace, where he served as Vice President of Finance supporting the company’s growth through venture capital financings and strategic acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years in venture capital and private investment management, serving as Managing Director of Limestone Capital Advisors, and a Principal at Gefinor Ventures. During that timeframe, he invested in and advised emerging technology companies across software, semiconductor, and other high-tech industries. Inman began his career as a pilot in the U.S. Navy before pivoting to finance and venture capital.

“I’m excited to join Ditto at such an important stage in the company’s growth,” said Tom Inman, “Ditto’s technology addresses critical connectivity challenges across commercial and defense markets, and I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our financial foundation, support strategic growth initiatives, and help scale the company for long-term success.”

Inman’s appointment as CFO comes as Ditto expands its connectivity operations across industries, including government and defense. Most recently, Ditto was awarded a $17 million APFIT contract to scale its technology across U.S. Special Operations Command, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. As demand grows for technology that keeps data consistent and operations running when connectivity is unreliable or unavailable, Inman will shape the capital and growth strategy that carries the company through its next stage of scale, strengthening its financial operations and supporting continued expansion across commercial and defense markets.

Tom holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
