Before joining Cross Country Healthcare in 2001, Ball practiced law at the law firms of Gunster in South Florida and at Skadden (NY) and was previously a registered nurse at Duke University Medical Center. She earned her Juris Doctor at New York Law School, Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University.
