Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Appoints Jamey Bellan to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Texas

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer's)—the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced that it has appointed Jamey Bellan to the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Texas, effective February 15, 2024.

Bellan, who will report to Matthew Metz, President, Central Region, will be responsible for leading and executing the Company’s strategic business initiatives in the state. Bellan replaces Metz, who was recently promoted to his current role.

Bellan launched his 22-year career in the beverage alcohol industry as a sales consultant at Southern Glazer’s in Texas. After gaining experience in both distributor and supplier roles, he navigated multiple markets with increasing responsibilities within Southern Glazer’s. In his recent role as Vice President, General Sales Manager for Texas, Bellan showcased his leadership and strategic prowess. He holds a WSET II Wine and Spirits among other industry accreditations.
