Orangetheory Fitness Grows Stronger with New Studio Openings in Saudi Arabia, South Florida and New York City Metro Areas in November

Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) expanded its global footprint in November 2024 with the addition of four new studios. Bolstering its presence in the U.S., the brand opened locations in Westlake, FL, Brooklyn, NY and Howard Beach, NY, while also growing internationally with a new studio in Saudi Arabia. These milestones highlight OTF’s dedication to delivering its transformative fitness experience to communities worldwide.

“These new studios represent our commitment to creating more opportunities for people to prioritize their health and wellness, no matter their fitness goals or motivations,” said Dave Long, co-founder and CEO of Orangetheory Fitness. “At Orangetheory, we believe that every reason is the right reason to move, and we’re driven to help people live longer, more vibrant lives through innovative, science-backed fitness experiences.”

Orangetheory Fitness Westlake opened in South Florida in early November. This is franchisees Steve and Patricia Braswell's fourth studio opening, and they look forward to bringing Orangetheory’s science-backed training to more Floridian residents. With the anticipated development in the Westlake area, this studio is destined for ongoing success and growth.

The brand also expanded its portfolio in New York with openings in Brooklyn, NY and Howard Beach, NY. The Bay Ridge studio opened in Brooklyn, NY, on Nov. 9, marking the ninth location for franchisees Melissa Madrano and Lars Schofield. Along with their partners Charles Medrano, Mary Stelnicki, Trevor Frobose and Jesse Milleson. Howard Beach, NY, opened its doors on Nov. 16 and is the third studio owned and operated by franchisee Vanessa Olmedo, who first joined the brand as a member in 2013.

Continuing its international growth, Orangetheory Fitness debuted a new studio in Narjis, Saudi Arabia earlier this month. The Narjis location is Orangetheory’s seventh studio in the country and is overseen by Khaled Jafar, the master franchisee of the GCC region, while Abdulrahman Nasser Alagil and his team operate the studio as the franchisee for all of Orangetheory’s Saudi Arabia studios.

Orangetheory Fitness, now part of Purpose Brands, the company formed by the recent merger with Self Esteem Brands, is celebrated for its heart rate-based interval training that blends science, technology and expert coaching to inspire members to live longer, healthier lives. With ongoing global expansion and strong domestic growth, Orangetheory remains dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of communities worldwide as part of its mission to deliver life-changing fitness experiences.
