As part of the expansion of its Family Office Services, new initiative elevates awareness of the arts & collectibles and promotes financial literacy around art investing
Wealthspire Advisors LLC (“Wealthspire Advisors”), an NFP company and top-ranked1 independent registered investment adviser (RIA), continues to further broaden its family office services business with the launch of Art InSpired, an initiative focused on promoting art through investor education on the financial appreciation of art and collectibles, hosted and sponsored events, and art-focused thought leadership. This follows a year of strategic growth and enhanced resources for the firm’s family office services with the launch of Wealthspire Trust LLC, the addition of family office accounting services, and the expansion of a team of wealth strategy professionals who specialize in estate planning, wealth transfer, and taxation.
The Art InSpired initiative is a major focal point for Wealthspire Advisors in recognizing the importance clients and prospects attribute to diversifying their portfolios by purchasing art and collectibles. The initiative kicks off on November 13th with a hosted gallery event in New York City and continues with multiple sponsored art exhibitions and educational events across the U.S. in 2025. This will also include a content series that leverages Wealthspire’s podcast platform, advisor-authored articles and whitepapers, video profiles of artists and gallery owners, and promotional videos across the firm’s channels.
“Multi-generational families’ expectations are evolving beyond traditional wealth management – collecting and investing in art provides them with an opportunity to further diversify their portfolios,” said Mike LaMena, chief executive officer of Wealthspire Advisors. “Our people bring significant expertise in working with professional artists and established art collectors. We are proud to launch Art InSpired in partnership with an esteemed network of professional gallery owners, art advisors, and art and collectible experts.”
In addition to its November New York event, the firm is committed to supporting both up-and-coming and established artists and partnering with regional museums to raise awareness of the arts. The firm is collaborating with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) in Westport, CT, to deliver a lecture series of educational webinars for art collectors and investors.
“A significant part of our work at Wealthspire Advisors is centered around community engagement, philanthropy, and legacy building for multi-generational families,” said Heather Flanagan, head of family office services and chair of the Wealthspire Trust board. "Supporting, collecting, and investing in art and artists is consistently a top interest for our families, and we are thrilled to create a platform that can help raise awareness and educate people about the intersection of art and finance."
Additional curated educational events and content are forthcoming throughout the year. To learn more, visit wealthspire.com/arts.
