Known as “Mr. Wonderful” on ABC’s multi-award-winning Shark Tank, O’Leary is a go-to expert on business topics and financial markets, and is a frequent guest on CNBC, Fox Business and CNN. He is the founder of O’Leary Financial Group; Chairman of O’Leary Ventures, Beanstox, and O’Shares Investments; and a strategic investor in WonderFi. To date, O’Leary has launched and invested in more than 80 companies in North America.

O’Leary will be headlining the Vision 2024 opening keynote, “Not If, But When: Kevin O’Leary Explores the Impact of AI on Cybersecurity,” as part of a fireside chat with Abnormal Security president Michael DeCesare. Throughout the session, O’Leary will provide his outlook on the AI investment market, discuss how cybersecurity will shift as a result of AI—in good ways and bad—and explore what individuals and organizations can do today to take advantage of this powerful technology.

“The threat landscape has completely transformed in 2023, as generative AI made its way into the hands of bad actors and empowered them to create more sophisticated attacks at higher volumes than ever before,” said DeCesare. “We’ve now entered an entirely new era of AI-powered cybercrime, leaving many organizations at odds with how to navigate its unprecedented challenges. During Vision 2024, we’ll examine these challenges as they’re happening in the real world and share insights about what organizations can do today to remain ahead of them.”

Vision 2024 will welcome thousands of cybersecurity professionals to this virtual half-day event. Through inspiring keynotes, CISO panels, and technical sessions, attendees will learn about the newest industry trends, hear predictions on what’s coming in cybercrime, and learn how to best keep their organizations protected in the new year. “Kevin O’Leary has long been a leading voice on market response to technological change, and we’re incredibly excited to hear his perspective as part of this virtual conference,” DeCesare continued.

O’Leary joins several notable cybersecurity thought leaders confirmed to speak at the event, including cybersecurity expert and “friendly hacker” Keren Elazari, who will present the closing keynote titled “AI, Cybersecurity, and the Promise of Tomorrow: A Hacker’s Insight.”

Additional speakers include:

  • Jason Stead, CISO, Choice Hotels
  • Andrew Albrecht, CISO, Domino’s
