Pantheon ranks No. 3251 among America’s fastest-growing private companies in America, with 163% three-year revenue growth rate
Today, Inc. revealed that Pantheon is No. 3251 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“This recognition is a testament to both the tireless efforts of every Pantheon team member, the support of our growing customer base, and the monumental market opportunity for WebOps,” said Zack Rosen, Pantheon co-founder and CEO. “The company has grown tremendously, and we’re so proud of how far our team, our platform, and our vision has come. Being honored as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies is another milestone on our journey to empower today’s marketers, developers, and designers with a website operations platform that helps our customers put the magic of the internet in everyone’s hands.”
Pantheon’s inclusion on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list is a first in company history, fueled by 163-percent growth between 2018 and 2021. In that time, the company generated significant momentum across all facets of the business. Pantheon grew its employee base by 240%; expanded its leadership team with industry veterans including Christy Marble as chief marketing officer and Christine Park as chief people officer; added powerful expertise to its board of directors, including former Tableau CMO Elissa Fink and former Avalara CFO Bill Ingram; strengthened its global footprint adding employees in India, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Philippines; and secured its $100 million Series E round, funded solely by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and a $1 billion-plus valuation in July 2021.
Pantheon continues to evolve its platform to meet the needs of today’s WebOps teams and deliver the capabilities they need to develop, test, launch and iterate their digital experiences. Modern automation, collaboration, security, and services in the Pantheon Platform improve the user experience, productivity and time-to-market for today’s growth marketers, web developers, and designers.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.

About Inc. and the Inc. 5000
Methodology
Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
