Helbiz Announces Strategic Trial With Australian Short-Term Rental Accommodation Leader alloggio, Expanding Global Reach to Asia Pacific Region

Helbiz has hired micro-mobility leader Mitchell Price as Managing Director to spearhead APAC region expansion

Helbiz (NASDAQ; HLBZ), a global leader in micro-mobility and the first company in its industry to be publicly listed on Nasdaq, expands its e-scooter offerings to the Asia Pacific region for the first time through a strategic trial with alloggio (ASX:ALO), a leading operator of short-term rental accommodations in Australia. The program will begin in June, deploying at least 100 e-scooters to alloggio guests and staff, providing innovative, exciting, safe, and sustainable ways to get around popular tourism destinations initially in Queensland, Australia, with plans for expansion into other tourism hotspots across the eastern coast of Australia.

Leading Helbiz’s newest region is Mitchell Price, an experienced business executive and industry leader for safe regulation in micro-mobility. As Regional Managing Director for Helbiz in the Asia Pacific Region, Mitchell will oversee the operations and expansion of Helbiz’s micro-mobility program, unlocking first and last mile transport solutions and connecting commuters to public transport. Prior to joining Helbiz, Mitchell was Chief of Staff to an Australian Member of Parliament and senior executive for Lime and Superpedestrian in the APAC.
