California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), the creator of California-style pizza, today announced the opening of its newest location in Laguna Niguel at 27430 La Paz Road near the Village La Paz shopping center. The new restaurant opening is part of the brand’s multi-year growth plan which includes increasing its presence in core markets, expanding domestic and international franchising, growing the brand’s licensing presence, and driving profitable guest traffic through menu innovation, CPK Rewards and increased marketing.

Following two years of unprecedented changes in the marketplace, CPK recognized that guest needs have changed, and custom designed the new Laguna Niguel restaurant to cater to a range of guest experiences. For traditional dine-in guests, the restaurant offers 237 total seats spanning a massive 6,733-square-foot indoor space and outdoor patio that can accommodate up to 62. Taking advantage of Southern California’s perfect year-round weather, the restaurant’s west-facing wall features eight glass garage-style doors that open up entirely, turning the whole space into one large al fresco dining experience.
Guests looking for a bar experience complete with TV entertainment can enjoy Laguna Niguel’s 20-seat bar which is outfitted with 12 televisions, a new bar menu and Happy Hour program that is offered Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to close.
For those in search of a more intimate setting, an enclosed private dining space can seat eight. In addition to VIP bookings, the private dining space will be used to host menu tastings with CPK’s head chef and culinary innovation team.
The new location also has a large, dedicated takeout station to ensure an easy take-out experience for guests and support third-party delivery orders. CPK’s takeout and delivery businesses have grown dramatically due to its upgraded digital ordering experience, high quality menu, and expanded delivery options. The Laguna Niguel restaurant location is designed to accelerate this momentum.
