Colorado Springs, CO, Fla. — Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share, the nation’s leading health care sharing ministry, treated its Colorado employees to a special chapel service at the Glen Eyrie Castle as an opportunity to boost morale and encourage connection. The Colorado office closed for the afternoon and the regular Wednesday chapel moved from its normal location on the Focus on the Family campus to a special venue.
Launched last year, this Chapel at the Castle event was created as an encouraging way to bring employees together while so many were working out of the office. It continues to be a great opportunity for employees to unite for fellowship and to promote employee culture at Christian Care Ministry. Matt Heard of THRIVE Fully Alive- Coaching and Speaking gave an inspiring message while Sorensen led employees in worship through song. This group also led worship at the ministry’s Chapel on the Beach held for the Melbourne employees in May.
“Our weekly employee chapels are always special, but we were thrilled to be able to offer this special chapel service at such a unique venue in a beautiful location. It’s important as a faith-based workforce to create opportunities to worship and hear from God’s word, as well as create opportunities for our employees to get together for fellowship. As Colorado Springs is home to our second office, we are grateful to be able to host this event in our backyard!”- Evelio Silvera, Christian Care Ministry V.P. of Communications.
Christian Care Ministry is committed to its culture, and it is very important to create opportunities to come together in person often. This Chapel at the Castle event was an innovative way for Christian Care Ministry to engage its employee culture.
The Glen Eyrie Castle was founded in 1871 and was home of the founder of Colorado Springs, William Jackson Palmer. Today it serves as a Christian conference and events center and the perfect location for Christian Care Ministry to host this special chapel.
