Marquis Who's Who Honors Collin Frare for Expertise in Historical Artifacts

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / February 13, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who honors Collin Frare for his expertise in historical artifacts and his dedication to public history. As the collection custodian for the Montana Heritage Commission in Virginia City, Montana, Mr. Frare plays an essential role in preserving and maintaining the state's tangible past for future generations. His recognition as a Top Professional reflects a career shaped by curiosity, practical experience and a strong commitment to making history accessible beyond the usual classroom.

About Mr. Frare

In his role as collection custodian, Mr. Frare is responsible for the meticulous examination, inspection and maintenance of the displays under his supervision. His daily duties include maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of various historical artifacts and sites so they are suitable for daily public tours. He is also involved in maintenance and repairs, as well as attending to important preservation issues.

Mr. Frare's career path was influenced by his interest in educating the broader public outside a traditional classroom. He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana, in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Public History from Liberty University, a private evangelical university in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2021. He originally intended to become a high school history teacher, but while at Liberty University, he shifted his focus to museum work. This offered a compelling way to fulfill his passion for history and education.

Before his current role, Mr. Frare gathered valuable professional experience in a variety of fields. His past work includes 10 years at his family-run trucking company and approximately three years managing logistics at an Amazon Prep Center in Montana, where he handled inventory and shipments for third-party sellers. His varied work background has equipped him with a strong work ethic and the skills necessary for his current position. However, he attributes his success primarily to his faith, active involvement with Grace Bible Church in Miles City and the unwavering support of his family.

Making an Impact Through a Diverse Career

Mr. Frare experienced a career highlight last summer when he had a meaningful 20-minute conversation with Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte during a special visit to Virginia City. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a master's degree and potentially a doctoral degree, with an interest in institutions such as Princeton University and the University of Oxford. His professional advice to others is to never stop learning about history, specifically the history presented by local museums or historical sites, and to be prepared to communicate that knowledge to both colleagues and tourists.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Frare has several personal achievements and hobbies. In 2019, he was granted a noble title by Queen Elizabeth II of England, having been recognized through a random selection process for his efforts while attending college.

In his free time, Mr. Frare is an avid reader who focuses primarily on history books. His current hobby is the intricate process of transliterating the Bible into the Elder Futhark Runic alphabet, the oldest form of the runic alphabet and a writing system used by Germanic peoples during the Migration Period. He is also an active member of his community through church activities, including a gospel-focused school program.
