The bridge connects the VeChain ecosystem with major blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana.
The Wanchain Bridge will allow users to transfer assets such as ETH, USDC, USDT, VET, VTHO, B3TR, BTC, SOL, XRP, and WAN between VeChain, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Wanchain, and XRP Ledger.
The integration will introduce wrapped versions of USDT and USDC natively onto VeChainThor, VeChain's sustainable, enterprise-grade and EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain. This will further unlock stablecoin liquidity for decentralized finance, facilitate the creation of new trading pairs, liquidity pools, and lending protocols.
With the latest bridge integration, enterprises will now be able to settle payments in widely trusted digital currencies, exemplifying a major step in advancing tokenized commerce and global payment integration.
