New York/USA - September 10, 2026: Nathan Koengeter’s research and strategic planning work helped his university advertising team earn first place at the American Advertising Federation’s Mountain West regional competition, advancing the campaign to the national stage in Los Angeles.

As a student, Nathan Koengeter served as market researcher, strategic planner, media presenter, and team treasurer. His work focused on the research and audience strategy supporting the campaign.

Nathan Koengeter and his team competed against six other university teams before advancing to the Mountain West regional competition in Salt Lake City. The campaign placed first at the regional level and later finished 12th nationally at the AAF competition in Los Angeles.

During the same period, Nathan Koengeter also worked as a research assistant for a university professor, adding academic research experience to his advertising and strategic planning work.

Nathan Koengeter later completed an internship in advertising research and strategic planning with a major organization in the advertising industry, gaining additional experience applying research and analysis in a large professional environment.

He has since worked across market analysis, data quality, data integration, and analytics.

“The tools have changed. The mindset has not,” Nathan Koengeter said.
