Neil Piper, chief people officer, KFC UK & Ireland

Neil Piper is a founding member and executive sponsor of Kentucky Fried Pride, KFC UK’s LGBT+ Affinity Network. 

He has spearheaded measurement and reporting across the company to improve D&I engagement, launched company-wide D&I learning journeys, is a committed mentor, a champion of progressive policy changes across the business and uses his platform and influence within the company to effect long-term change. 

Piper is a driving force behind KFC’s inclusion through external partnerships, has fundraised for the Kaleidoscope Trust and, as an avid speaker, has appeared on many inclusion-specific panels including one for Kerry Foods Global LGBT+ ERG. Piper believes that inclusion is everyone’s genuine responsibility, and as a visible, vocal and out gay leader in the corporate world is a role model to many.
