ANIL UZUN Calls out UK Government to Save Music Industry

ANIL UZUN calls out the UK government to take measures to prevent the effects of the trade deal with the EU on musicians.

LIVERPOOL, UK, October 12, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ANIL UZUN is a guitarist, independent music producer, musical arranger, event organizer from Turkey returning to the stage after the pandemic. Today, he urges the UK Government to take action about the negative impact of the EU trade deal on the public including musicians.

The Brexit deal triggered a lot of crises and now musicians are under threat.

ANIL UZUN says "We have all been patiently waiting for the crisis to be solved but no talks have taken place since December. There are still a lot of barriers for the musicians to perform their art. The trade deal prevents new artists from coming to Europe without visa or special permit. Not only the musicians but also crews and support staff are affected economically."

Critically acclaimed musicians do not face obstacles. But the damage will be on the next generation of musicians and emerging artists.

"I feel really sad when I think about young people who can't even start their career due to the financial and logistical obstacles." he continues.
