On March 26, 2008, WESCO International, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of
Directors has appointed John K. Morgan as an additional Director, effective March 31, 2008. The
Company’s Board of Directors has not determined which committees, if any, of the Board of Directors
to which Mr. Morgan will be appointed. A press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Morgan to
the Company’s Board of Directors is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is
incorporated herein by reference.
