OF VANECK VECTORS ETF TRUST

This Supplement updates certain information contained in the above-dated Statement of Additional Information (“SAI”) for VanEck Vectors® ETF Trust (the “Trust”) regarding VanEck Vectors High Income MLP ETF and VanEck Vectors High Income Infrastructure MLP ETF (each, a “Fund” and collectively, the “Funds”), each a series of the Trust. Effective March 12, 2018, George Chao was replaced as a portfolio manager for the Funds by Guo Hua (Jason) Jin. Accordingly, the SAI is supplemented as follows:

Although the funds in the Trust that are managed by Messrs. Jin and Liao may have different investment strategies, each has an investment objective of seeking to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of its respective underlying index. The Adviser does not believe that management of the various accounts presents a material conflict of interest for Messrs. Jin and Liao or the Adviser.
