On May 16, 2011, Richard O. Lund, Vice President, Controller and principal accounting officer of General Mills, Inc. (the "Company") announced his retirement from the Company effective October 1, 2011. Gerald A. Young will succeed Mr. Lund as the Company’s Vice President, Controller and principal accounting officer effective August 15, 2011.
