Echelon Corporation today issued a press release announcing that Beatrice Yormark, president and chief operating officer, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2008. Echelon had previously reported that Ms. Yormark had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. As previously reported, M. Kenneth Oshman, Echelon’s chairman and chief executive officer, has assumed Ms. Yormark’s duties.
