| (b) | On March 1, 2006, Lester Crown, a 31-year member of the Board of Directors of General Dynamics, informed the Board of his intention to retire as a director and not stand for re-election at the Company’s 2006 annual meeting of shareholders. Mr. Crown will continue to serve as a director of General Dynamics until the 2006 annual meeting of shareholders, scheduled for May 3, 2006. |
