Item 8.01

Other Events.

 

On January 3, 2006, the Board of Directors of Xcyte Therapies, Inc. (“Xcyte”) appointed Peter Langecker (a current member of Xcyte’s Board of Directors) to the Audit Committee of Xcyte’s Board of Directors (the “Audit Committee”). The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Langecker to fill the vacancy created on the Audit Committee by the resignation of Jean Deleage from the Board of Directors on December 22, 2005.
