Item 8.01 Other Events
Worthington Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it repurchased 2,700,000 of its common shares at $21.35 per share from an institutional shareholder, which repurchase was made under the Company's previously authorized stock buyback program. The transaction was completed on April 28, 2011.
